Football Stadia

INTRODUCTION

In these varied arenas a networked lighting control system has been installed throughout the buildings to control the operations of the pitch and concourse amenity lighting as well as the entertainment suites dimming and scene control requirements. The system provides lighting control with added power saving efficiencies by the use of a centralised control system being networked to intelligent relay modules throughout the building and external areas. The system has been set-up to be fully automatic, although the user can control various functions of the lighting from the touch screen controllers, which have been provided in the security room and in match control.

The complete audio/visual and lighting installation controlled via Touch screens located in the main teaching lecture and the projection room.

SYSTEM OBJECTIVES

The system has been designed and installed to provide a comprehensive Control System for the audio/visual and lighting installation. The key areas in the design were to provide:

Provide fully addressable switching to all luminaries via intelligent C-BUS dimmer modules.

Provide CCTV cameras and recording facilities to record the lectures.

Provide local PIR movement detection for theatre area.

Provide a touch screen and control system so that the facility can be controlled from a simple user interface.

 Provide emergency lighting test facility.

 NV Buildings

INTRODUCTION

Buildings 1 & 2

A networked lighting control system has been installed throughout the building to control the operations of the complete lighting installation. The intruder system in each apartment has configured to provide real time monitoring of the status and report any activity to the main concierge / security rooms. The lighting system provides full control with added power saving efficiencies by the use of a distributed control system being networked to intelligent relay modules throughout the building. The system has been set-up to be fully automatic, although the user can control various functions of the lighting from the control and monitoring pc, which has been provided in the ground floor concierge / security room.

SYSTEM OBJECTIVES

The system has been designed and installed to provide a comprehensive Control System for the lighting installation and monitoring of the apartment security panels. The key areas in the design were to provide:

Provide fully addressable switching to all luminaries via intelligent C-BUS relay modules.

Provide power saving efficiencies by the use light level sensors.

Provide local PIR movement detection for designated areas.

Provide a centralised control system so that the building lighting can be controlled.

Provide real time controlling of each apartments intruder alarms.

Warburton Lodge

 INTRODUCTION

The property is a prime example of the advantages that accrue when installing fully integrated home intelligence from scratch in a brand new property. The entire installation cost a fraction of the selling price, and is bound to add far more to the property's value.

SYSTEM OBJECTIVES

The system incorporates lighting, heating and cooling, 20 zones of electrically controlled blinds, access control interfaced with the phone system, eight audio zones, fully distributed video and TV, including four security cameras, fully distributed telephone and data and a remote call facility which makes it possible to operate all of the above from any remote location. As for any problems with the heating and cooling system, these are diagnosed remotely through a separate cellular phone connection independent of the main phone lines. The nerve centre of the installation is in a concealed walk-in cupboard in the apartment's lobby. Future proofing is always one of our priorities, and it's usually delivered by thoughtful wiring.
